I thought kaning gugma is bisan sakit kaayo nimo, ultimately, you want the other person to be happy, even if it means they find that happiness with someone else. When you love someone, isn't their happiness paramount? But if that love is the kind where you tell the other person, "kung dili ka ma ako, then walay lain maka angkon nimo", isn't that selfish? Love isn't supposed to be selfish.

I'm not trying to judge. I'm just thinking out loud.
