Bring your camera bai to test..
also write down the serial numbers of those lenses uv tried, take pictures, when you go home check all the pics taken from the lenses..then you choose the pic u like (confirm sharpness, contrast, CA, vignetting and distortion) then you back to the store buy the lens based on the pics u like with those serial numbers uv wrote as basis. also for 3rd party lenses..check for front and back focus for focusing nman..

55-250 aint exctly in the same league as the other lenses you posted...

...then 17-40 or 10-22 both are superb

do you know stores in cebu who has canon ef-s 17-85mm?
or any lens that is compatible with 400D...just the cheaper ones than those L lenses...

or you can suggest a third party brand...do you know someone who is selling his lens im open for used lenses also.

A. cause mas wider man. naa naman ko kit lens, og 50mm. so the next best thing for me to buy is a telephoto 70-200mm 2.8 (sgima cause cheaper) or a wide angle like the sigma 10-20mm but sa imong choices i would go with the 16-35mm cause wider siya.
