you theists believe your God is perfect

now if this God is perfect, he should've created a world of perfection! no death, no suffering, no pain, no war! he should've created a world with abundant food, enough supply of clean drinking water, but look at the world today? a God, who you believe who created this world, doesn't belong to the qualifications of a resume of a supreme being!

your God was created by mortal man, through religion. Religion created your God! it was an idea molded in the minds of man that there is a God!

just because you can't explain everything around you doesn't mean you'll end up concluding that everything was created by God.

he is just, that's what your bible says! he's just to the point he created a special place of fire, smoke, heat, torture, and eternal pain. and that's hell! he's just to the point that he created EVIL in this world, even your bible says so! (isaiah 45:7 KJV) he created evil for what? isn't it a part of his will that he would include the creation of evil? if he's powerful then he should've controlled and eradicated evil! since your bible preaches he's more powerful that satan, right? so it's possible for God to kill satan and end the evil things in this world!

i totally agree with you sir
i was never ever taught that God promised me anything except that He will save us from our sins. My God wanted me to live a life of simplicity and humility. He never told us that He will give us all we wanted and become rich and problem free. As they said, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God. I don't know with the others but the significance of life for me does not depend on how intelligent a person is nor how rich he is. It depends on how he has lived his life in a way that he can make a difference that is for the better. Honestly, i believe of Antoine when he said that "what is essential isinvisible to the eye".

kudos! He taught us to get up and work, in order to get what we aimed for. he taught us to be humble and steadfast.

Only those who DO NOT take anything from his lessons, are those who make this world wicked, dirty, and spiteful.

Some people believe, but they do not put into practise. if you knew what it meant to put his teachings into practise, then you may not be as un-happy as you are now, TS.

    yes we do.

this is a misrepresentation, a fallacy, of what we believe. The bible never said this world was created in perfection. In my other post I have explained the origin of our sufferings, look into it again. We cannot blame God for our mistakes.

Would you blame God for your bad hair? next time choose your barber carefully.

Again blaming is a sign of immaturity.

your God was created by mortal man, through religion. Religion created your God! it was an idea molded in the minds of man that there is a God!
The evidence of creation invalidates your argument.

just because you can't explain everything around you doesn't mean you'll end up concluding that everything was created by God.
I rather choose God than believe on dumb chemicals. Evidence of Intelligent design requires an Intelligent Creator, not dumb chemicals, can chemicals think? no.

he is just, that's what your bible says! he's just to the point he created a special place of fire, smoke, heat, torture, and eternal pain. and that's hell! he's just to the point that he created EVIL in this world, even your bible says so! Yes He will eradicate evil. Evil is an act of opposing God's standard, He did not create it. It's our choice, it was Satan's choice and soon He will destroy it.

    nice one buddy

actually i thought the TS was as educated as what she sounded like before. I would not like to get her banned cause i thought that she was better than all those trolls i have ever encountered. She has a lot of good points though. The reality is actually biting and we have to accept that. However, i really admire my religion. I don't want any people to insult it. This is who i am and this is how i was brought up. I love my God, no matter how impossible it maybe for me to prove to anybody to believe in Him. What i can do is just to show goodness to others. I may have a lot of trials in life but i didn't give up because i know He is there. "Nasa Dios and awa, nasa tao ang gawa" I can do this. With Him, I can do anything. ^^

I know that not all people was as lucky as those who remained strong in faith, but this is not the end. You are always welcome. As with those who have different views, i respect you.

But for me, as for now, i'd like to give a chance to her for tomorrow
i hope you will open up in the HS thread. We are always willing to listen. I also don't expect you to change your views on atheism. What i am hoping is that you will learn to respect each one of us.
