April Fools![]()
Anyway guys!!! Here's Jerry Colangelo's possible selection in the 2008 Beijing Olympics:
Point Guards:
1. Chauncey Billups -
2. TJ Ford -
3. Chris Paul
Alternate: Kirk Hinrich
Billups has gone from draft bust to clutch floor general in a few years, and he'll be the starter for this Olympic team. Let me spell TJ Ford for you: court vision, unselfishness, leadership, and full court defensive ability. Chris Paul, its inevitable not to include this guy, unless ma-injured. what the heck.. bring in Steve Nash.
Shooting Guards:
1. Kobe Bryant
2. Joe Johnson
3. JJ Redick ( DUKE - white guy with a deadly range, now who said white men can't jump?)
Alternate: Bruce Bowen
Kobe... 'nuff said. Meanwhile, Johnson has a multifaceted game equaled by few guards in the league. Not to mention bringing some spark from the bench.
Small Forwards:
1. Lebron James
2. Michael Redd
3. Ron Artest
Alternate: Adam Morrison (GONZAGA - college pa karon)
James has been phenomenal in this spot and should deliver good this time, unlike the last time Larry Brown is with the so called Dream Team who went for a dismal performance.
Big Men:
1. Marcus Camby
2. Chris Bosh
3. Dwight Howard
Alternate: Brad Miller
When healthy, Camby is the best center in the NBA not named Shaq. That's a fact... In two years Bosh will be even better than the polished inside outside threat that he is today. Dwight Howard is an obvious selection - young, eager to prove himself, (leads the league in rebounding) and immensely talented.
OVERALL. For reasons unknown, and as if i care, wala kau all-star kani na line-up ha. But the entire committee is thinking about a legitimate who shares the ball, play impressive defense, has that knack to see an open man, fast line-up and whatsoever they want. AND NO THING AS HYPE. MIght want to include this, since the last "Dream Team" wasn't a matter of selfishness, rather it was a lack of familiarity with common team defensive principles due to the short period of time this team practiced together. Maybe karon, lahi na pud.Â*
A 7 footer(dirk nowitzki) wins the 3 point shootout, and a 5'9" player(nate robinson) wins the slam dunk competition.... hehehehehe![]()
Nate Robinson won the Slam Dunk Contest...
A.I. to A.I. is amazing...

but the JUDGES steals the show...
A.I to A.I = the sickest dunk of the night
Lebron won the All Star MVP when he led the EAST team to victory 122-120 over their WEST counterpart, and they did it the old fashioned way coming back from a 21 pt deficit in the first half. that was one of the best All Star games i've seen for awhile..![]()
Shut Up! Let your GAME do the talking!
The dunk was ok. Behind the backboard. Unique sad.Originally Posted by Uzumaki Naruto posted on Today at 09:29:24 AM
