The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. He thought to himself, 'What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.'
Then he said, 'This is what I'll do. I will tear down my barns and build a bigger one, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I'll say to myself, "You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry for the whole year.
And then harvest time came. He had a very good produce that he had no more place to store the rest of the crops. So he ask to himself," What shall i do? I have no more place to store my crops."
And then, he finally decides, "aaah, im gonna tear down this barn and build a much bigger one. And there i'll store my grains and my produce. I believe this is the price of my many years of hardship. Ill take my life easy then, eat, drink, and be merry for 10 years without work."
So he build a bigger barn, a two storey barn. And since he now had a bigger storage place, he planted some more. From the grains and carrots he used to plant, he now cultivates corn and squash. Every time he saw animals like crows, rabbits and deers, he would shoot them away.
So the harvest day came. He stored his produce in the 2-storey barn. ...And yet, his produce was so great that some of his crops can be stored-in somemore.
And then again, he finally decides, "aaah, im gonna tear down this barn and build a much bigger one. And there i'll store all my produce. I believe this is the price of my many years of hardship. Ill take my life easy then, eat, drink, and be merry for for the rest of my life. My neighbors will be very envious on me."
So again, he build a very big barn, a five storey barn. And since he now had a lot bigger storage place, he planted some more. From the grains, carrots, corn and squash he planted before, he added cabbages, raddish, and more corn. Every time he saw animals like crows, rabbits, deers, and wild boars, he would shoot them right away.
So the harvest day came. He stored his produce in the 5-storey barn.
...And yet, his produce was so great that some of his crops can be stored-in somemore. He got very tire but he taught of a bigger place to store his harvest.
And as expected, he again finally decides to build the biggest barn in the world. He torn down the 5-storey barn right away and started building the biggest barn.
He finally finished building the biggest barn in the world. It was so big that its roofs reached the skies above. He placed all his harvest their.
And "hullaaa!". All his produce were successfully stored inside the barn.
He smiled to himself and said, "Now ill be merry for the rest of my life!"![]()
Five minutes after, he died of over exhuastion. :!:
All the crows, rabbits, deers, and wild boars, and even the monkeys had a feast in his barn. The animals were very merry for the rest of their lives.![]()

THE FATHER'S GIFT
A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car.
Finally, on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautifully wrapped gift box. Curious, and somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man's name embossed in gold.
Angry, he rose his voice to his father and said "with all your money, you give me a Bible?" andstormed out of the house.
Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day.
Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.![]()
He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still gift-wrapped Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matt.7:11, "And if ye, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father which is in Heaven, give to those who ask Him?"
As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words PAID IN FULL. :!:
