Naa man gyud tithing even sa Christian community which my daughter belongs. They give back to the Lord. At least gani sa catholics, you are not obliged to give. Only if you can.

pasalamat nalang ta wala ta gi istrikto sa 10% tithing dri. i heard nga did2 sa mga progressive countries sa europe, mas strict kuno ang tithe sa mga catholics did2 dili parehas dri. i dont pud think nagsalig nang rome sa remittance diri sa ato oi. pila ra gud ang collection sa simbahan minus pa sa expenses sa maintenance og projects. naa siguro nahatag pero dili gyud ingn ana kadako. kita hinuun nagsalig sa mga donations gikan sa gawas. tanawa lang nang mga schools like sisters of mary. i think funded na outside our country. if strict pa ang collection sa tithe dri unya magcollection pa gyud, kana mura pwedi na ta mu reklamo ana kay na sobra na pud. ang senario diri sa ato kay less for God and more for you . pero wala ko ga ingon nga dili ta mu reklamo if naa kay proof kay makasala pud ka og sin of omission ana pero if speculations ra mas ok siguro nga dili na lang.

nya per info sa simbahan, this collection will go to "so-and so".. nya i-ipon ra diay ang 2nd collection sa 1st collection.
asa man paingon ang kwarta, sa simbahan ra japon, dili sa "so-and so"... bura'g gi-ilad ra man ta ani.

^^ i used to hear mass sa mabolo church way back mga 1980's...during dat time limpyo ang church.....mid 1990's d na kaayo ko ganahan musimba sa mabolo church kay hugaw na kaayo ang simbahan.....and kulang sa maintenance.....karon na-a sila expansion but i dont nu if mabalik ba ang kanindot sa mabolo church.........
