Kulang man info imo gihatag sa imo wireless. Unsa may imong wireless card? Nakasulay na ka ug gamit sa Hardware Drivers Manager? Nakasulay na ka ug gamit sa Ndiswrapper?

D-link lagi ako wirelss kalimot lang ko sa model.. naa man gud sa balay.. sige lang ako lang nya to i post ang iya model.. and naka sulay naka ug wirelss card?? lisod man iinstall.. wala pa kokasulay ug Ndiswrapper try nako unya and naka sulay na nuon ko drivers manager.. pero diliman niya madetect.. hmm sge lang.. its worth to try.. charge to experience lang kung unsa mahintabo.. dili bitaw mo buto ang comp tungud sa OS . nyahahaha lol pure evil!!

ubuntu 8.04 user with compiz fusion.. very stable, but had a hard time installing compiz fusion, but na install ra nako. wehehhe

After playing with several distros...
I've decided to HDD-install Ubuntu 8.10 64-bit just recently. I'm impressed. it boots quickly...
finally i'm running a 64-bit OS.. I think i'm gonna use it as my primary OS.

Here are the some apps i've installed.. you would want it too:

Nvidia drivers (of course)
Ubuntu Restricted Extras (audio codecs, flash, and ms fonts)
Google Gadgets (very cool)
Various Themes
Opera (this is my browser of choice)

Is it easy to install ubuntu on a laptop? I mean.. does it come with all the usuall stuff that we are used to from windows like playing of dvd files, div-x, mp3? can it automatically detect usb devices? does it come with wireless support?

However, the multimedia capabilities are limited due to proprietary codec licenses... no MP3 playback, no flash, no DVD, etc.. you need to install Ubuntu restricted extras for all multimedia capabilities after the Ubuntu installation.. it's easy to install it anyway 'Add/remove....'

It has wireless support but havent tried.

You need to have an internet connection for installing software. or maybe download the DVD version perhaps...
