@giancoke: di man kailangan na always ka online. depende pud sa client kung VA ka naa man client ask you should be online certain hours para maka work ka while there are online too. naa uban pasag-daan lang pud ka.

However, i do suggest you should get yourself unlimited broadband like smart bro been using it ever since im doing online job for the last 4 years.

@Stargirl: gut feelings lang ako-a... kay usually payment through paypal jud na sya. pero kung writer ka you ask lang let them pay you for every 5 articles once you gain trust every 10 or 20 articles.

if VA ask them pay you after 1 day's work to gain trust lang for both parties. paswerte2x lang jud ne freelance work...

i'm a member of both odesk and gaf..first kay gaf, but personally mu go ko for odesk ky guaranteed ang payment, especially if hourly jobs. ang nkaapan sa gaf kay minusan daun nla imo account if mkadaug ka sa bid..mao to nasuspend ako account..ty pa jud ako 2 ka articles ky dli mo hatag ug upfront payment ang buyer..and nkanotice sad ko na gmay na au ila rates sa article writing whereas sa odesk mo offer ang buyers ug 1-3 dollars per article. pro im not biased ha, share lng ko sa ako experience. thanks=)

go for buyers with at least 5 paid jobs...nkasuway ko anang link2x outside odesk den nangayo sa ako username, gkulbaan ko mao to niask ko ug online support(odesk chat help)so mao to gitan.aw nla den gi ingnan ko na ok ra...better safe than sorry...and go for hourly para sure..

swerte ubanan sa kakugi ra man jud ni mag freelancer ta. I have a full time job and at the same time, nag freelance sad ko sa odesk. So far so good. I usually work 2-4 hours on weekdays and 4-8 hours on weekends depende kung tapulan or ganahan ko. Minimum nko madawat monthly is 7k and if magkugi ko labi na naa goal na paliton, mka earn ko 20k amonth. Nice kay tax free bsta kugi lang jud.
