If the 3570k eventually drops down and outweighs the its price disadvantage, i will change the 35k rig. For now, 35k is barely enough for an ivy gaming rig. I know lot of people would want an ivy (3570k) because its the newer generation and a lot of people will disagree but lets not forget that on a gaming perspective, both a 3570k and 2500k rig will still have the video card as the bottleneck..Plus ivy bridge is still a sandy bridge architecture..

    dili

G630 + H61 is a way better processor mobo bundle

    here : AnandTech - Bench - CPU

    between G620 vs. X2 265

    the G620 wins..

and my recommendation in comparison with the benchmark is a notch higher G630 against a notch lower X2 260

No need to change your motherboard just so maka-G630 ka. If naplano ka mag 4-core nga intel and budget is not a constraint, go ahead. If otherwise, just upgrade to a 4/6 core Deneb or Thuban core..

ingon ko ako bro-in-law na mag i3 nlang ko pero ingon cya pag i5 nlang daw unya iya daw ilisan ug i7...diba ba dako ug temp and power consumption ang i7, and need ug nindot na cooling system?

Ngano diay kuno? Dili ba kuno maka-upgrade from i3 to i5 or i7?

If you have enough moolah, why not lahos sa store then tudlo lang ka kung asa ka ganahi? But since you are in this thread, as with most of us, it would be safe to assume that you are maximizing your budget. And i assure everybody that between an i5 and i7, the difference in framerates is very minimal.

Dako ug temp ug consumption ang i7? By standards of yesteryears, it's even frugal. More quad-core amds consume more...
NEED ug nindot nga cooling system? Believe it or not, if intel deemed that necessary, they would have shipped the chip with a watercooling system rather than an hsf..
