    mas future looking or advance ang architecture sa AMD... with the built in memory controller.. but Intel's processor performs better.

    Designwise, AMD looks better. And theoretically, (scientific and floating-point apps), AMD would be better. But, Intel's offering performs better, (as of today), due to the 45nm manufacturing process. They can squeeze more cache, transistors, and clock speed, while reducing power consumption and operation temperatures.

    Pero AMD has done well with the IMC...

    lets wait till the nehalem comes out of the shell..

    according to some site i read about it..

    nehalem has an L3 level bus thats multi directional called CSi , and a wider in bits multi path IMC , i forgot the alias..

    that sound like a hyped up AMD..

    Here's some news:

    Nvidia 790i for Intel 45nm:



    As you can see from the picture board it will support three PCIe x16 slots, two plain PCI slots and two PCIe x1 slots. Those three green slots are screaming for "triple-SLI." This new C73 chipset will add support for DDR3 and 1,600MHz FSB.



    Nvidia 780a for AMD:

    same as above, but it is for AMD...


    Which would be better? Maybe ATi's new chipsets would make Phenom kick Core2, or maybe it would be otherwise..
