I prefer a Condo over House and lot, because the latter is actually much more expensive in the long run. Based on experience sa amo balay, for sure others can relate to this as well.

Although sa house and lot, it's cheaper at first, and mas makapili ka sa design, unsa imo gusto.

- Mas gasto ang pag repair sa balay especially pag maka experience na ug wear and tear through the years.
- Stressful if you experience lots of repair.
- What if imo gi stayhan mawala na ang constant supply sa tubig? You have to install pump, another gasto.
- If you plan on adding extension or expansion sa balay, since it altered your original house, chances are there are leakage, damage etc. So gasto na pod pag repair.
- Pag madaot ang roof, gasto na pod pag repair.
- Another expense: Property Tax.
- The more you expand a house, the more expenses, and I'm not talking about construction expenses. It's the expenses after the expansion.
- Pag duna bagyo or even simply a strong wind or rain, a house is risk of being damaged. Gasto na pod. A condo is more secure and protected.
- Earthquake? Panagsa ra gyud condo na damaged sa linog, or have you seen it in the news constantly? Mas daghan house and lot na damaged diri sa Pilipinas kay pirmi ta bagyohon.
- I'm from Iligan, I saw thousands of houses were damaged by Sendong.

After ko ka basa sa Rich Dad, Poor Dad ni Robert Kiyosaki, mas ni samot akong preference for a condo over single detached house. Although the book says, a house is liability, not an asset. So If for example I have 20 million, I prefer investing it in a business first than buying a condo. Will only buy a condo pag stable na ang business.

kung city proper imo ganahan sa mas maayo na condo since mahal napud ang house n lot kung ari naka cebu city.

Pero para sa akoa mas ganahan ko House & Lot located in Talisay or Minglanilla kay dili pa kaayo traffic dha sa south plus naa tay SRP and soon to rise SM MOA in SRP.
