That statement tends to downplay/belittle science. For me, if I that "guess" helps me improve my understanding, and perhaps even how I live my life, then it's still BETTER than believing in false idols and superstition.

To set things clear, neutrinos are not a recent discovery. I've read about neutrinos in my high school text book. Neutrinos travelling faster than the speed of light -- this is the recent discovery.

Well, that is Science. Previous truths are proven wrong.

    It's the mass–energy equivalence.

The recent discovery does not necessarily falsify this formula, though it uses the speed of light, denoted by c. This about the relationship of mass and energy. You could say energy (E) is equal to the product of its mass (m) and a conversion factor. A massive energy requires mass to be converted in the square of the speed of light in a vacuum. The formula is, more like, pertaining to extremes.

very true. But I lean towards wild guesses during examinations. And that's all true about life, we'll never know what we gonna get.

    oh yea hyperspace

nasa 5th dimension ang light and gravity sir noh? which string theory diay ang widely "accepted" (sorry dont know the correct term),murag naa man lain2 "version"?

We argue that the neutrino advance of time observed in MINOS and OPERA experiments can be explained in the framework of the standard relativistic quantum theory as a manifestation of the large effective transverse size of the eigenmass neutrino wavepackets.
