.. no, you should be the one to relax. What's so racial about that line ?? It was even turned into a movie. And talking about rules; as long as he nor she is not a member of istorya.net it's ok to lash out on them. Like i said, keep your cool.Originally Posted by Namnori
.. anyway, the Sprewell, Garnett tandem was very effective, too bad the management can't hold on to Sprewell.
if AI will end up in minnesota, i think they will be having same problems with what they have with sprewell before..
bsta sprewell na gani.. mu tubag jd ko.. idol bya!haha.. sprewell was the spark that could change an entire nba franchise in a single season only.. take note, when he came to the ny knicks in 1999, he led the knicks all the way to the finals! when he was signed by minnesota, it had the biggest turnaround of the season with the franchise logging the best record in the West, and they reached the West Conference Finals for this 1st time in franchise history. KG went on to win his 1st MVP plum, Sam CAssell was voted an All Star and Flip was tagged as the Coach of the Year. Sprewell simply is the X-factor that could spell difference. Sad to say, he is way below his prime years.. I just wish the best for my idol!![]()
KG or Dirk? Basically, i dig Kevin Garnett because I think he's a better character who can lift his team when needed the most... no offense to Dirk though, but he has Terry, Howard, Harris and an effective bench that drove them into the NBA Finals last year, and there's Stackhouse.
Eversince the TWolves drafted KG, he was always been there for the whole club. Shoot jumpers, rebound, assists, blocks, hustle and just plain everything. Despite all these things he did for the wolves management, all they can give was a Sprewell-Cassell transaction to a franchise-first West COnference Finals appearance and I really thought things were going to get better the next season. And i think KG was robbed... the management had all the tools to get somebody better but i really don't think fate isn't favor of the whole improvement thing.
So, i think it's better for the Wolves GM Kevin McHale to discuss trade on KG and send him to someplace special or they're gonna lose his value as a player and as a character.
It would've been great for him to accept the Wolves offer of 3 year, $21 million contract extension than not getting a job because of his, uhmn, "attitude".Originally Posted by billabong
yep.. that's the downside of it.. his arrogance.. in his words pa gani "ive got family to feed". i think his time has just passed, passing the torch of athleticism to lebron, dwayne, mello and the likes. maybe we can spot sprewell in the future as an import in the pba..? who knows? cedric ceballos strut his stuff sa pba as an import just recently..
sprewell's attitude problem brought him down.
KG had another monster game leading the timberwolves over the spurs, plus a big support from mark blount. if minnesota could just surround garnett with quality and consistent role players, they will be among the elites again. KG is still good for 5 or 6 years before going beyond his prime
I'll give him 3-4 years if he gets into a contender team. 1 year if he's still with Minnesota.Originally Posted by --Makoy--
both are great but the difference between them is that dirk is clutch player, kevin is great player but kulang sa support.
mark blount gives KG much, much needed support which is why minnesota is back on winning again.
