Caltex, Petron and Shell

shell ko kay I had a very bad experience with petron.

1st petron katong sa b rodriguez na branch, ig patubil nimo murag dagko kaayo kulang.

2nd branch na petron sa jy na branch, ang ilang crudo sagol ug tubig

ig mag bleeding ka sa pump maklaro man na ang imong krudo sagol tubig.

unleaded na tanan bro. due to the 1999 Philippines Clean Air Act wala nay leaded gasoline run maski asa illegal nana. the difference is in the octane rating. it just depends on the minimum requirements of your car as stated in the manual.

All three has 93-octane (Shell Premium Unleaded, Extra Unleaded, Petron Regular Unleaded, Xtra Unleaded, Caltex Silver) and 95-octane (Shell V-power, Petron XCS, Blaze, Caltex Gold)

I have done 5 full tanks each on my car for Shell V-power, Petron XCS and Caltex Gold, which are the 95-octanes most suitable for my car. Shell V-power is ok, it helps you accelerate faster similar to Petron Blaze but its too overkill, I dont need to race with my suv. and its more expensive. For Petron XCS, while others mostly have excellent reviews, is surprisingly the worst in terms of fuel consumption. i dont know maybe its just not suited perfectly for mine. Caltex Gold gives the best mileage, and acceleration is smoother and feels just right. now ive been sticking to Caltex eversince. soon im also planning to test E10 and see if fuel consumption can still improve though i still have to check on the dealer for this.

you can try experimenting with each brand and see which suits best for you. it depends also on your requirement. it varies so you cant really say which one is better.
