"What are the necessary skills and knowledge to start with real estate?"

As what all things and all business should be... Everything needs to start with ourselves.
First, let us form the winner's habits:
Remember a habit could be form in 21 days. So, try forming these habits without a miss of a day.

    1. THE HABIT OF BEING SELF-DRIVEN
If you came from employment, ill tell u... real estate is a completely different world.
There is no scope of work. There are no complete procedures on what we should do.
    You only have the goal.
There are no routinary schedules. Everything is very unpredictable.
There are no bosses to guide u.
You are making your own work. And you are making your own future.
When u fail, there's no system or management you can blame into.
    There's only you.

If you are lazy, you'll become lazier here.
If you are hardworking, you'll become more industrious here.

If you are determined to succeed, that you believe nobody can hinder you towards your goal.
Then this is the perfect world for you.

    2. THE HABIT OF ORGANIZING
If you are used in making messess on ur bedrooms because you are confident that you can just find those buried books when you need it...in real estate it won't work.
It even might cause you to lose big opportunities.

If you are serious to go into RE, now start making records of all your things. Give tags for easy identification. Improve looks of things around you for recognizable visuals. Im not trying to make you gay. A real man is an organized man.

Believe me, you'll do more organizing in RE than organizing your whole house.

    3. THE HABIT OF GOOD PR
A RE carreer is built on connections. Therefore it means that a good personal relation to anybody is very vital for this carreer. Start your network of contacts as early as possible.

But if you are the type of person who just dont have the PR, just build a good integrity.

    4. THE HABIT OF TIME MANAGEMENT
This is actually one of my struggles. When i came here, i was forced to value time.
In fact, as your responsibility in any business widens, you'll realize that time is an asset which should never be wasted.
You'll be doing many time managements in RE. In scheduling your tasks, in organizing your resources, in setting appointments, etc...
A famous speaker once said that being tardy is not just being 1minute late from the appointed time...
He says,"If you come on time, you are late."
Why? Because you already don't have time to prepare yourself.

So, we need to be there at least 30minutes before the appointed time.
This is not being too early. This is about being on-time for preparation.

So, start your 30minute habit now.

    to be continued..
    5. the habit of self-discipline
    6. the habit of professionalism
    7. the habit of humility & of being teachable
    8. the habit of dependence upon God

start walking at where they can be found...they are almost everywhere..
to become a licensed salesperson, u need to be connected by a broker or a developer
    they'll tell u the reqts...
