another one was abt maria labo, an aswang daw. real kuno ni. i got this from another site. taas man gud kaau. na feature gane ni sa Ngiiinig.

“Maria Labo was a beautiful woman, very beautiful. She was a family-type of person and that is why she went to England. She worked there for several years and finally, she saved enough money to sustain her family’s needs. She went home here to take care of her two sons.

But that peaceful time did not last long. Her husband lost all their money to a silly old bet. Maria Labo was forced to work again. This time, she served an old wealthy woman in another village. The woman, having no children or relatives, treated Maria Labo like her own grandchild. They became very close that the old woman decided to give her riches to her. But there was one condition and she did not tell what it was. Maria Labo, thinking only about her family, willingly accepted this condition.

The old woman smiled a weak smile and told Maria Labo to kiss her in the lips. Maria obeyed and crouched down to do what the old woman told her to. While they kissed, the woman passed a spherical orb from her mouth to her. After that, the woman died. It turns out that she is an“Aswang”. So Maria Labo not only inherited the money, but the curse as well.”

“When Maria Labo went home, she was welcomed by her two sons. They hugged their mother tightly for they have not seen her for a long time. But she was doing more than a simple hug--she tasted them. Her long tongue dangled down and moved gently on her son’s flesh.

The two boys tried to get away from their mother’s grasp but they couldn’t. She then took a knife and stabbed them both many times. Then, she hit their bodies with a hammer. ‘Nice and juicy’ she said.

When her husband came home, she was upstairs. Exhausted and hungry, he looked for some food to eat but was surprised by what he saw. There-- in the fridge, were his son’s bodies, chopped into several parts. The heads were there but the hair was pulled out abruptly. The eyes were placed in a container filled with blood. The skin and bones were separated from the meat. And the meat, was in a plastic container because that was her favorite part. ”

The story of "Maria Labo" is real. Many people have seen her and most of them became her victims.

P.S. Her husband lived to tell the tale and that is why this story became famous in many regions of our country.

This was an URBAN LEGEND in CEBU specifcially in brgy Calamba that talks about a mestizo man from the south ( Lanao ) being a " bugoy " and you name it from being a drunkard ( tuba drinker ), pan chics , finished secondary education in only 3 years but stayed in HS for the next 9 years and a FISHERMAN EXTRAORDINAIRE .

The story circulated that when he goes home to Lanao del Norte , being a fisherman also and operating his own pump boat mangisda ni siya in wee and odd hours mao mahibong ang uban mangingisda and neighbors bisan fullmoon daghan and dagko ang mga kuha niya na isda which is really next to impossible . Till one early in the morning gi sundan siya sa batuhan and what they found out kay naa diay siyay uyab na serena ug best friend na agta . Pretty much ang serena ang mo sulti asa dapit ang mga isda and ang agta ang manakop sa dagko na isda but he died since to explain everything because of " RIDO " in Mindanao .

Only those people who actually saw him lived to tell the tale also why such catch is that much and big . It was really true and for that mestizo being a friend to all who shared all his graces and catch named a local medium size fish sa ilahang lugar sa Malabang " estong " in honor of Ernesto .

Sa Calamba kay storya storya na lang ang nadunggan nila pero sa lanao kay tinuod gyud nahitabo . He is my uncle BTW .
