dpnds hw many person are there in the family. but for single 20k would be good and u can save na at the same time have a comrotable lifestyle. if u have kids u have to add at least around 10k/kid. that way u can pay for their private school and give them allowance and buy what they need and still save for their future at the same time. of course were talking abt normal expenses nothing over the top.

at first, i was earning 8, den 11, den 14, all in one year. im in skol, i pay bills. pero i was able to save about 30,000+, and right now, im planning to put up my own business.

i was able to live comfortably even with the eight. what i do is i plan my month, though i set aside a sufficient amount for laag, say 500. i budget and as much as possible i stick to it.

so yeah, it goes with your lifestyle. when you try to look at it, you can perhaps do the same things but in moderation.
