i want AMD... esp those 64bit ones... hey, arctech has opterons available... dont know exactly what it is but i think its fast... very expensive...
i think il go for Athlon XP 3200+... see the graph above? VERY CONVINCING! the price is good too... but the HEAT? i heard AMD PC's hang-up a lot due to over-heating... any solution to this? name the hardware component, brand, and price... i need details
btw, i saw a program in BBC about the new AMD64 processors.. it does kick intels ass... i was like wtf? i want that.. but i hope the price is ok... for now i think its too early... compatibility and stuff... please correct me if i am wrong...
how much do u think will i be spending to upgrade my PIII 600Mhz, Asus mobo thing... to AMD Athlon 3200+
i can sell the old PIII and the mobo for 4000 pesos.. il be needing extra RAM of course... suggestions anyone?
btw, gamay ra budget, so the cheaper the better...

AMD is the best ; because its cheap and affordable and especially athlon xp which has the best features than p4ht 3.0ghz galing talaga at pang gaming pa

my suggestion: do you really have to go for 3200+?its may be the newest/hottest stuff in the shelf but it doesnt mean you have to get one.any thoroughbred/barton/thorton core amd cpus will do.

um, ive been using this PIII for years now. i think its time for an upgrade. ad besides, my PC cant cope up with the amount of work i do nowadays... with all the programs i have to open simultaneously and all the big files i work on... it does get annoying sometimes... and i work for hours at a time, thats why i asked if AMD remains ok despite of the HEAT...
my plan is, i buy the latest hardaware then upgrade sevvvveeraaallll years from now... its like buying a car... like if i buy a "not so fast chip" i'd have to upgrade sooner or later because new programs will need more resources... esp games... hehehe.....
one thing though, i cant find the XP 3200+ on the shelves right now... any idea where? i prefer the malls coz it very convinient there...
