That looks like Christian Tissier Shihan of France doing a demo of kotegaeshi and irimi nage techniques. The other guy is part of the technique. They are not in competition.
I had the opportunity to meet him in Japan and even just standing up he exudes the aura of peaceful power and stability. Don't pass the chance to attend any of his seminars.

yeps, it's Christian Tissier Shihan, i have a copy of his Aikido Pragramme Kyu and Bokken AikiKen Kenjutsu DVDs... maklaro gyud nimo ang iyang power ug stability...

Maayo kay naka palit ka ana. Usually online ra na sya available unya mahal pa gyud. Di pa gyud modawat ug visa. hehehe. I have not seen the dvd but considering how he performs live i could imagine that it would be a great production.
