    Naay strong sense of nationalism,
    Chinese nationalism.
Kung maka-rally grabe kaayo maka-ingon ug imperyalista.
    pero.

In other words China has turned the crisis of US and EU finance capital which is in crisis and suffering massive devaluation, into an opportunity to export its own finance capital. As a result, China is now entering directly into competition with the existing imperialist powers as an emerging imperialist in particular posing a major challenge to the US, the EU and Japan. What accounts for this amazing performance when the rest of the imperialist states are in recession or stagnating?

The answer this is to answer the question: Why is China Imperialist?” The answer can be found by going back to the salient point that the secret of China’s “success” rests in its highly centralized state banks and SOEs which can act to take advantage of the global recession. An while this is no longer a feature of a so-called ‘socialist’ society, it is the legacy of China’s history as a degenerated workers state (DWS). In other words if China had not been a DWS it could never have become a dynamic capitalist country. It would have been fated to be divided and ruled by imperialism from the the early 20th century to the early 21st century. Like all other semi-colonies, China would never have been in the position to accumulate sufficient capital to force its ruling class to export surplus finance capital and emerge as a new imperialist power.

honestly, ive got a friend who used to join those kinda stuff.. as she said explained to us, there are only a handful of educated people who joins this kinds of rally, some of them know what they are fighting for and some were just there for incentives and dont even know what they are on about... when any one get a chance to ask someone from the rally (pick the people who are just sitting at the back) and ask them what they are doing and ask them in depth details of what they are fighting for... i bet they are going scratch their head and will dig deep for an answer the we all know is BS

US exploiting PH-China row - Bayan

Various Militant groups gathers at the Plaza Salamanca before advancing to the premises of the US Embassy on March 3, 2012. Leftist group Bayan on Tuesday has slammed the planned rotational presence of US Military personnel in the Philippines, and has said that the superpower is taking advantage of the ongoing PH-China row. (Linus GUardian Escandor II)
    “Biggest lie.”

This is how militant group Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) on Tuesday describes the Philippine government’s claim that United States will help the PH on its territorial dispute against China as the negotiation for increased U.S. military presence in the country will start this week.

While recognizing the need to stand against ‘assertive’ China, Bayan believes that U.S. will not go ‘head-to-head’ with China as it has “a lot of economic interests” in the communist country.

“The US is merely exploiting the dispute,” Bayan Sec. Renato Reyes said in a statement.

This came a day after Sec. Albert del Rosario announced it will start talks for the framework agreement between Philippines’ Department of National Defense (DND) and U.S.’ Department of Defense allowing increased U.S. rotational presence in the country, which includes pre-positioning of major U.S. equipment.

Del Rosario earlier said that the increased rotational presence will help the country defend its territorial waters amid PH-China dispute over Spratly Islands.

“We stand ready to tap every resource, to call on every alliance, to do what is necessary in order to defend what is ours, to secure our nation and to keep our people safe,” del Rosario said on Monday.

Moreover, the militant group also dismissed the claim that the agreement will ‘modernize’ the poorly-guarded Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

According to Reyes, the US has no intention to modernize the AFP’s equipment, as “it wants to keep the Philippines dependent on US aid.

“PH soldiers are merely being treated to previews of weapons they can never have and methods they will never use. We’ve had US bases for nearly half a century yet our armed forces still did not modernize. We have a VFA [Visiting Forces Agreement] with the US since 1999, our armed forces still did not develop,” Reyes said as Bayan together with other militant groups gathered in front of the DND’s office where the first round of negotiations will be held on Wednesday.

The militant groups are asking for the full details of the agreements with the U.S. regarding “access arrangements for US troops and ships in existing PH military bases,” Reyes said.

Bayan has been protesting the presence of U.S. military in the country for joint exercises and its military bases in Clark, Pampanga and Subic, Zambales.

seems that japan also is gearing for war, not unlike before, they have been very passive.
recently, they are already buffing up their military by making it constitutional.
maybe, soon, world war 3 with the help political landscape of our region...

Reflecting the events of WW2 we know what Japan is capable of doing.
They are quite so determined and ruthless, I know they would push through with the plan.
I hope that the Philippine government should consider first having that missile shield technology before committing to participate,
the same as with the other SE Asian neighbors.
It's time for Japan to assert its dominance I would prefer to rally behind them for this cause,
they should lead Asia not China. China is too greedy and self centered.

heard before from a japanese that one of the real intention of japanese colonozation during WW2 was to establish an empire on the east that could counter the west. when japan open its trade on the late 1800s, they were shocked how far the technology of west had fared. envisioning same feat as the west, they expanded their territories and colonizing neighboring countries. however, they had lost the war through nukes. at present time, seems that china now possibly have same dream as japan before. this time, japan is gearing up its military again knowing the very threat of the sleeping giant...hopefully war could be avoided since seems that these become the business of the 1st world countries...
