i listed some few examples of fil-chinese (in cebu ra gani toh) kay mao man na ang topic, henry sy, who is of chinese origin. but we still have a long list of notable rags-to-riches and success stories of filipinos not of chinese origin...
other examples: Jaime Zobel de Ayala, Ramon Durano Sr., Jesus Garcia Sr.(Sun.Star daily), Gatchalians, Arcenas, Carungays, etc...

my point is, even if fil-chinese, fil-am, fil-jap, or fil-euro, they are still filipinos like u and me...no more, no less.

Luck has got nothing to do with it. It was his determination to succeed and got him to where he is right now.

In business there are up ups and downs. you have to be prepared for this because it is not an easy venture, nothing is easy.

Henry Sy is my idol for he believes in the Philippines, for I Believe in it too.
People say its not good to do business here but why others are doing well.
It's all in the mindset of people that our country is poor and they try to blame other people for their misfortune. The Philippines is not different from other countries, other countries have corruption too.

Lets change our mindset and follow the examples of Henry Sy. Help one another, creates businesses to employ more people and promote our country to the world.

They are making a lot of money here in the Philippines but even for example those sales ladies and contract workers at SM don't have any regular benefits like healthcare provided directly by SM and were paid just the minimum wage.. and after 6 month they will just replace them so that they will not become a regular employees.. those are unfair business practices.
