Form me he doesnt deserve a Max contract he should learn to play a role on a team. the thing is he is the type he needs the ball the on his hands all the time to create offense nya he heats up late in the game... So until he grows up, He just gonna keep transferring to find a perfect fit.

Gay opting-in is not a shocker for me. I mean, with Carmelo and possibly LeBron and Wade opting out, I don't think he can dictate the market on his favour. Also, his past is still haunting him despite the fact he's been efficient in the Kings lineup. Before getting traded to the Kings, he was an analytics nightmare. So it's a good move for him for opting in and keep being efficient and hopefully analytics won't hinder his goal of getting a big contract.

As for Melo, he's for sure getting a big contract so I disagree that he's not making a good financial move for opting out.

Hearing hearsay that he will take a paycut of 50 million to sign with the Bulls. That's a lot of money to give up but if he wants contention, Bulls can give run for Miami.
