SAD would almost always usually be based on book, unlike most other IT or CS subjects. As this subject deals with accepted practices in system design especially in the software development methods (i.e. model driven develpment, prototyping, chaos model). What would certainly help is when your teacher can give concrete examples on how this are used/applied in real world scenarios.

This subject is certainly very useful when you're already out in the field, specially when you're at the project management levels. This models/practices would certainly help you stay within budget, meet deadlines, asses project requirements and needs, asses cost, and as you ware working in groups of 4 or more, would help you work better in group environments.

ohhh well usc sad ko gkan.. just graduated last march in IT.. SAD? pagka SAD gyud sa life.. hehehe basta suggestion lng nko kay sabta ang tanan topics... wla gyud mo problema ana pag buhat sa project and documentation... hayahay lng to amo SAD b4 kay dli based sa book, the way cya mo teach is through experience niya, but napulihan cya kay naay "issues". the second teacher we had was more on book based gyud iya... kay dapat man sad gyud na basahon gyud nmo ang book over n over para mka G ka.. so mao to na nag lisod gyud mi pag SAD 2 which is the design part...
