I just want to add up some questions since we are talking about routers. How about the best wireless adapters, specially for desktops who needs wireless access. There are alot of mini-UsB wifi adapters now, also using PCI-e(not sure if sakto) wireless adapters. Just want to know which is a better brand of choice for both types of adapters. Like what are its Pros and Cons.

an hour later before editing my post, I found out about this Powerline Ethernet Adapter.

1. Direct Ethernet Cable (ethernet cable ra dritso)

3. Wireless Adapter

These are ranked according to its performance for transferring files, streaming, and Ping. 1 as the highest. Which is direct ethernet cable ofcourse..hope this helps somehow

Yeap,Direct cable connection jud ang best connection cause wala maka-distort sa connection from the internet to your router/modem and to you PC...

TPLink. if nahan ka cheap just buy TPLink router na 150Mbps transfer rate... But kung naay extra go for 300Mbps para di ka mahay in the future... I guess its just 1k something to 2k... ask lang sa salesman... SM or any mall with computer products,naa na sila for sure. If you need the proper configurations (just in case ) PM me and I will make a new thread for your request.

i'm a user of both D-link (house sa mandaue) & Tenda... so far so good... ang Tenda kay wala'y pawong2x nko... running 24/7 since March '10... more than 1 yr na ni sya since nag operate on a 24/7 basis... good as new ang performance & looks... hehehehe...

IM using Huawei 3G MIFI so far so good running 24/7 USB power naa sa ceiling gibutang para good 3G signal kay layo na sa City, usahay maghang ang wifi don't know unsay rason, pero a reset will do... pag brownout naa japon access kay naa man battery ang huawei MIFI... magdungan ra ug kalowbat ako laptop ug MIFI in 5hours battery use...

Dati I have a linksys wrtu54g kadtong sa city pa gapuyo, pagbalhin sa farm baligya na kay di magamit hehehe
