Seasonic, though dili kaayo ilado sa atoa, pero they are one of the best PSU manufacturers (and they actually design and build their own PSU's). Honestly nakaila lang ko sa ilaha tungod foreign based nga forums, so I tried them out. So far one year kapin pa siya and so far walay issues... In terms of warranty, wala koy ka ma kumparahan pa but all I can say is that more than excellent ilang after-sales support based on my personal experience just today...

Inani nahitabo, akong gi paslak akong X-560 sa old school P4 mobo unya ambot murag misaligned na siguro ang pins sa mobo 20p connector (or maybe na misalign nako pag paslak unya akong gi duot), nagka bungi-bungi and mga pins sa ilawum (female man guro tawag ani) akong 20/24p nga cable sa mobo side nga connector.... So frustrated kay I know walay baligya ani og for sure dili nako pde ipa warranty sa store.......... so I tried emailing Seasonic support and Sales support and asked if they have that modular cable for sale as an accessory and kung asa ko maka palit............... and to my biggest surprise, they replied and said they will replace it for free and they will just have to send it to me (so they asked for my shipping address). Wala may mawala nako so I did but I didn't expect it... And today, I received a package from Seasonic and again, to my biggest surprise they sent the whole set of modular cables with freebies (3 full color Seasonic PSU catalogs, 2 velcro tie straps, 1 Seasonic logo/sticker, 2 Seasonic ballpens) pa jud! Murag wah ko ka tuo jud at first ahaka lagi?!

Imagine, I only needed one module cable, but they sent me the whole set plus freebies! I don't know if inana jud sila or it's just my lucky day but still, I am so very happy with this experience and I highly highly recommend Seasonic for this matter...

nindot bitaw seasonic. wala lang jd distro ug dili madali dali diri.. FSP? ok ra xa, but personally, i would not get something that would make me feel that I'm paying a price that's too good to be true. barato ra kaayu ang price for the specs and it just makes me worried...

Corsair made a name for their PSU line because of Seasonic which manufactured most of their early models. Most notable is the sought-after HX620..

Boss TS ayaw ka confuse anang brands. ang tan awa kanang nakabutang nga 80PLUS, silver ba bronze ba or titanium etc, bisan unsay brand basta naa na nga certification daug na. of course tan awa sad ang power required sa imo VC kay bisan pag 80PLUS pero 400watts ra sad sikla gihapon.

Efficiency Rating cannot even assure you of reliability and delivery of rated outputs. Most important consideration is voltage regulation under load and delivery of rated current especially at the 12v rail. It is fairly easy to go around the certification but not around strict voltage regulation and current rating.

80 PLUS is an initiative to promote energy efficiency in computer power supply units (PSU). It certifies products that have more than 80% energy efficiency at 20%, 50% and 100% of rated load, and a power factor of 0.9 or greater at 100% load. That is, PSUs will waste 20% or less electric energy as heat at the specified load levels, thus reducing electricity use and bills compared to less efficient PSUs.
