    1. Decentralized tracking is crap except for public trackers, and public trackers are crap.
    2. Decentralized tracking was incorporated in Beta versions of the official client. It isn't an Azureus invention.
    3. The majority of clients are Python clients making the majority of clients cross-platform including G3, original client, and Bit Tornado.

    In any case, I use Bit Tornado on the Linux CLI and the edonkeycli for the edonkey network.

    Then how was I able to complete 2 torrents from certain private tracker when their site got closed down by the FBI? Wink (Good thing that most of the peers where on the latest Azureus)
    Because you weren't following their rules. There is a reason it's a private tracker. With distributed tracking, it becomes public. I am guessing the private tracker you are talking about is ET, and before they closed, people were TOLD to turn off distributed tracking.
