Bystander effect in this case is still disputable.


The situation is clear, complete with lights, less people, and if you were there and even if you're not very attentive you will notice the child lying helpless in the street. If dili ka makakita then makadungog ka sa iyang cries and for certain that injured being there is not a cat but a child.

As seen in the video passers by obviously noticed the child, in fact gilikayan paman ganeh, some stopped and watch and left. And there was no crowd. No excuse for anyone to pass that responsibility to other people around kai sila ra ang naa diha. They just simply don't care about it and left it as is.

Take note of the first people who passed, no expressions at all.

how is this worse than when a motorcycle driver here got hit by a car, then a bunch of people "helped" in into the ambulance. Then later on the driver realized his pocket and watch are missing.

you're just being racist without understanding how things in china work. people there are afraid of the chinese state police. if you help, you could be the one end up charged with the crime so over time people learned not to help to protect themselves from the police.
