@TS: Pwede man siguro ka mag writer or data entry. Daghan pang company sa Cebu. Basta be patient and persevere, who knows..sa sunod nga company makit an nimo ang imong alas. Good luck!

@Tahm Bhai: Do you know any company which are hiring data entry position?

for me, there's no case since there was no contract signed between you and the company. and it's at your own risk for spending money in finding a job and not the company's responsibility. and the company has the right to turn down an applicant though I admit, what they have done to you is really unfair and they gave you false hope. =(

@onlyvic: Yeah, it hurts me so bad since this is my first time. ( As they say, a learning experience but still it hurts.

Go find another job.. Applying for a job costs time and money but it doesn't assure you a job.

Just because they asked you to submit requirements does not mean that you already got the job. The very reason why companies ask for requirements (which usually include references, past work experience, scholastic records among others) is to see if you are indeed qualified for the job. 'Passing' an interview isn't really indicative of anything except maybe that they like you. 'Like' does not necessarily mean 'Hire'.

(Also, since you were saying you don't have a lot of cash on you these days, I don't think filing a case would be very practical on your part. You will be spending a lot more than you would've been earning from that company, not to mention that it will take up a lot of your time. You're better off spending that precious time and money looking for another job opening. )
    TS, take it from him.
