hahaha.. bitaw. nangutana pud ko sa una kung naa na ba sila galaxy s or i9000. kasab.an pa ko kay wala daw na. nyahahaha.. karon ako sila pasuyaon sa akong galaxy s inig muadto ko sa samsung store. )

bitaw. i dont know kung unsa ang mas nindot kay personally wala pa ko nakasuway sa wave. but based on reviews and specs.. murag mas nindot man ang galaxy s. personal experience nako, sa stock nga firmware, JF3, naa mga lags usahay. pero ako na gi.flash ug JG3, ug gi.root, wala na ko problema. super fast na akong fone. nyahaha..

kadtong ingon diri nga giflash nila ilang galaxy s ug unbranded firmware, i doubt kung unbranded jud na, kay so far sige ko ug sunod, puro ra man samsung based nga firmware ang naa. even modaco's and other roms nga available puro ra man based sa samsung nga firmwares. nya 2.1 pa jud. if sayop jud ko ug naa jud mo nakit.an nga custom firmware nga unbranded or kanang dili based sa stock nga rom sa galaxy s, like vanilla android 2.2 ba, palihug ko post sa site kung asa na ninyo nakit.an diri sa thread. kay dugay ra ko sige suway ug build sa 2.2 ug gamit sa drivers sa galaxy s nga gipagawas sa samsung pero wala pa jud nako nakuha..

anyways, i highly recommend galaxy s over wave..

sakto.. naa na diay ni mobile access point ang galaxy s. which for some android phones, maghuwat pa sila sa 2.2 para makakuha sila ani. i dont know kung ang wave naa ba ani. pero wala pa nako nasuwayi kay wala pa ko kaapply ug unli internet sa sun. muapply pa ko. mas barato kay 649 ra i.add sa imong monthly subscription. hehe

Unbranding means removing the operators custom firmware / junk added to the phone.. its not unbranding it as samsung, using a modified rom that is based on samsung's rom is called CFW still its a samsung rom, the only thing considered as a vanilla andriod 2.2 is the firmware for the Nexus 1

^oh okay.. thats exactly what i did to my phone. im on jg3 firmware now. and i deleted the applications that came with the fone which i do not use using terminal and busybox after rooting. there are update scripts which removes those applications automatically but i opted on not using them since i wanted to retain some of the samsung apps. so i deleted each application by hand. by the way, where did your friend buy his galaxy s? from globe?

wala ko palit sa globe. i had my phone even before globe announced they were releasing the galaxy s exclusively here in pinas. i ordered my phone from clove the day this baby was released in the uk..
pero ang 8gb version ni ang ako. murag ang mga openline nga galaxy s kay 8gb man. then ang kadtong mga operator locked. kay 16gb. wala ko sure. pero gipakapinan man ko sa clove ug 8gb pud nga sdcard. so ok ra. then mas barato pud. hehe

SingTel, unlocked iyang 16GB. Morag epa replace niya next week nig balik niya.
