17-40mm f4 L..mao na ako next target, more on landscapes nasad..depende ra jud asa imo forte, if macro ka, palit lang ET and reverse ring. if portrait ka, 70-200mm or 50mm..and so on..

your dlsr has a built-in flash mn sd, try using it, nya if kulang ra gani n u think kinahanglan jud ka og ext flash, y not buy an ext flash..

First lens to buy 50mm f/1.8!!! Dirt cheap but excellent IQ.
Then I wud suggest na invest na lang ug 70-200mm f/2.8 bisan 3rd party brand of lens instead of buying a walk-around lens.

Also, I wud suggest nga ayaw na ug palit mid-range zoom lens (ex.: 24-70mm f/2.
The 50mm lens would be enough para ana nga range. A few steps wud cover the distance of 24-70mm using your 50mm lens. "foot zoom" matod pa sa uban... =)

In addition, your 18-55mm kit lens (kung naa) could serve as your Wide Angle lens.

So that covers your basic lens ranges: 18-55mm for Landscape/Portrait
    50mm f/1.8 for Portrait/Low-light Photog; 70-200mm f/2.8 for Portrait/Low-Light/Birding (Sniping ug chiks) =)

sakto jud, di jud ka kahibaw sa imo kinahanglan or gusto if wala pa nimo na suwayan..ang lens bai m.enhance ra na sa imo art, find out first kung asa ka maayo, could be landscape, macro, portrait, sport photog, night photog, etc, there are lenses suitable for those, just find out first kung asa jud ka maayo or comfortable..
