most motherboards set their ram straps @ 800MHz...that is why you have to change the memory dividers to get it to 1066MHz...but their are also motherboards intelligent enough to read the EPP in the rams and automatically set it to 1066...one example is the XFX 780i Tri-SLI mobo...it read the Cellshock rams DDR2-1066 EPP(533MHz) and set it accordingly...vdimm set @ 2.3v...

ah ok salamat sa info. kuyawan lang ko ba kai init set nako sa voltage 2.1 up mo red na ang color = danger. pero sa rating sa akong rams 2.1-2.4v ang dapat voltage para ma achieve ang 1066mhz. then akong board supports 1333mhz natively. ang problem lang nako na encounter during sa OCing is ang memory frequency di mag tugma sa na detect sa board. (na detect sa board is 800mhz ra when ang akong rams if OC capable of 1066)

I think naay ddr3 1066, just like the ddr2 400

2.4 volts and up, i would recommend active cooling on the memory.

brad, mas maayo if stick ka sa memory nga mo support imo mobo else mag problema ka sa imo PC. kasagaran if butangan nmo nga mas higher kesa sa required module sa imo memory kay mo gawas ang blue screen of death.

kasagaran ako nasuwayan bro kay mo adjust raman i lower niya ang speed sa ram. di man ssad mo sakar jud ang mga incompatible.

if you can run your memory at 1066 with the least voltage...mas maayo.

@comicGeek unsa diay na brand/model imong rams? don't try 2.4v..taas ra gyud kaayo na maski maoy rating niya..basin mudagan ra gyud na at 2.1v-2.2v.

Team xtreem dark pc2-8500 actually ok na kaau cya ron pero gi set nako ang voltage to 2.08v i try ni nako og change later tonight.

ang main nako nga problem is sa bios and memory frenquency nga ma detect is 800 only but my ram is capable of 1066.
