no1 else tried this method? chewing gum while peeling an onion.... someone tld me back while i was in the states...he said he read it from a snapple cap....lol

i sae it on tv. you just peel the onion and put it on the freezer for couple of minute. para inag slice d mo magluhaluha.

sa amoa after we slice the onion in 2 halves, we place them under running water (sa gripo). human ani dili naman kaayo halang ang onion upon slicing na gyud.

our chef in marco polo gave me a tip in cutting onions.. place a bowl of water beside you when cutting onions as the water will absorb the whatever thats coming out of the onion thats making you cry..

akong ginabuhat kay magbarog ko kung mag hiwa og onions, makes sense kay mas layo na akong mata sa sibuyas. also i use a sharp knife, i dunno though if it has an effect.

i just wash the knife before cutting an onion...that usually helps
