There are many eateries outside the beach resorts..
there are also barbecue stands along the beach...

Are there restaurants you can choose along the beach? Carinderias? Or resorts only?

nay daghan carenderia ug na puy mga resto nga mahalon, your choice, depende sa budget. sa bantayan cottages gani, they will allow you to cook or put food in their fridge. dili ra kaau mahal mag bantayan island, libre ra ligo sa budyong, nice kaau ang beach didto

You're in luck, Bantayan's Hilantaga-an Island is one of the best spots for snorkeling.
I've learned from Sir Allan Monreal, one of the advocates of Back to Sea program that
Bantayan is the center of the center of marine biodiversity of the world

Too bad, we don't have many skilled researchers in our country who can make good
studies on our resources. However Sir Allan's group is looking for funds to get a good
researcher from abroad to hold trainings and workshops to all fisherfolk in the island/
municipality so we won't have to rely anymore on people from abroad when it comes to
research studies
