Because of the bench design of the Microcool Banchetto case most of the components really stay cool. I was very lucky to have gotten this CPU it was one of three that was hand pick by this guy. At 4.5GHz I needed 1.38v LinX and IBT (Intel Burn Test) stable I just couldn't stand the temps almost hitting 45c-50c idle and 90c loaded. I would have to go water cooling and if I did I think this CPU will give me 5GHz easy. So for now I'll keep it at 4.2GHz 21x200 @ 1.22v
My modified wall unit is pretty cool, it compresses down to about 4" and extend out 20" and a full range of motion left, right and tilt all with out messing with the monitor setup. Plus I got it for a Christmas gift....free!!!
