It will only take 3.5 mos before the rice will reach to its harvesting period which is in at the ideal condition. Believe me I was working with my grandfather in our family farm before.

There maybe a rice crisis (I’m not quite sure if this is really true or it’s just propaganda) but I also see the brighter side of this issue.

    1. Rice would be in demand for every farmer, with that, more alternative ways takes place in terms of their rice production.
    2. Others might divert their land field (or whatever it is) into usable/rice field.
    3. It’s a lesson for every Filipino.

Expect darker side would be the opposite meaning.

I was thinking of putting more factors about the issue but I’m afraid it will only annoy to the reader. Well, the cycle won’t stop there.

Since this is a global concern, it would be inevitable for us not to experience this kind of crisis. Only that, we can handle the situation better since we have ample rice supply in the area. More so, the government is negotiating with other countries so that the people won't experience rice shortage in the future. With the current program on aggressive rice production, I guess the government is really serious with its effort not to give burden to the people on the emerging rice crisis.

The issue on rice hoarding should be dealt differently. Albeit with an iron hand against those who take advances even if they know people will suffer.

Diversion or NOt... our government is doing a good job in handling the situation about this global rice crisis... oppositions just can't accept that...

if the government has done a good job, the rice crisis could have been averted.
unless, there is something fishy going on again.
