point taken bro. just wanted to hear it from you. but then again, job interviews don't require you to wear something specific, just business attire. besides, the companies pay US, but WE pay the schools. :mrgreen:
personally, i have nothing against the uniform policy. if anything, it saves me from having to choose what to wear and it helps me keep my clothes from being damaged due to wear and tear. i also like the look on people's faces when they see me for the first time in my uniform. priceless.
what i'm against is the fact that there was no democratic consultation. there was a "dialogue" but in essence it was a gathering to tell us "hey, we're gonna be imposing a uniform on you guys, there's no stopping us."
disappointing.

I remember this issue during our college years in USJR, because ang the USJR admin was the first to initiate this uniform policy.
They insist nga tanan males mag uniform na since ang females ga sanina naman ug lumot(green uniform), what we did the Supreme student council requested for an open forum to Student affairs office para ma debate unsay reasons sa new policy.
It was a big debate since niadto gyud to ang taga ABS CBN to cover the event, at the end they implemented nalang the new uniform policy sa new 1st years nga nisulod para walay lalis.
To counter their so called abrupt decision of the Admin, our school paper had our artist draw a large caricature of a monkey wearing the proposed uniform which tags " Ang unggoy kung mag uniform, unggoy ra gihapon tan-awon" which is just our gesture of the current conflict between students and admin.At the end karon tanan students na ang ga uniform mao na naamong tanan schools.
Those were the days nga medyo init pa kaayo ug dugo ang mga students, later as time moves forward all of us realize what is maturity.
covered sa ABS-CBN kay taga USJR man si Rico Lucena heheheOriginally Posted by RhosAn_Morbid
yah ang USJR bitaw nag-una2x ani hehe...
init pa ni karon kay bag-o pa and i hope nga mo mature napud ang mga carolinians as time moves forward.... awa si isteb hin-grow na kay naka-realize na sya nga priceless ang reaction on the faces of the people who saw him wearing the uniform for the first time
@duchess
The same feeling gyud if we try turn back time in college kaning mga haguthot sa students....
Rebellious in nature man gud ang usa ka studyante nga nagpakabana sa iyang society labina ang iyang mismong school nga mao unta ang mu guide para mahimong edukado ang usa ka individual.
Kiwaw ra na the first time mag sul-ob ug uniform, pero maanad ra nya tang tanan.
@RhosAn_Morbid
dli man lang estudyante ang rebellious in nature.. tanan man tawo hehe! we are afraid of change.... nahan ta sa ato lang comfort zone.
dili pa ni ma-realize sa mga nag-protest karon but from what junmar has shared nga later on ma-realized ra nah nila. so ato lang sa nah sila payawyawon karon.. hehe
