    @zerk
    Yeah. We all take good care of our stuffs. I literally starve myself just to buy comic books. If the borrower do not take good care of my stuff, World War III here I come!

    Wow..Guess I should expose myself more to comic books..I have read a very few number of them..other than manga, Gen 13, Sandman, and a few Marvel and DC comicbooks...

    My course really takes a lot from me. Regret comes halfway in the end. For me, at least.

    Hmm..in Sandman...I guess I like the twins. I see myself in Despair. And I love the mischief Desire creates.

    Can't wait for next Sunday.

    I'm also a sucker of Sandman. I love the graphic novel Endless Nights.

    Wish you all the best in your studies and your skills too. I've been there too. You are not alone. I hope I can give you something that will cheer you up. Perhaps a neopet? LoL.

    for me, being mostly involved in rearranging the alphabet in unpredictable and fantastic prose, i just want to work with creative, artistic individuals.

    i love comics because of the stories and morals they tell so effectively with the artwork-- Frank Miller, Alfred Gough, Stan Lee, Watsuki Nobuhiro etc. etc. Hopefully with my craft, I just want to pay the favor forward...

    I guess that's what art is all about..expression of an emotion, thought, or just about anything.
    I still haven't tested the waters yet. I stopped drawing for two years. My course has taken my life away from me..well, most of what's left of me.

    Sorry for ranting...I'm regretting too many things nowadays.

    Hmm. This is a week of melancholy. I just found out that it is difficult to draw when I have an emotional wound. I just hope to get over it
    in a day or two so I could move on to contour drawing real objects (I am still drawing an upside down owl drawing by the author).

    Anyway, see you all on the 26th.

    @dichromaticbeagle: I regretted my decision to take ECE then later CompSci because I wanted to please my father. In retrospect, I should have
    stuck to my original plan of taking Fine Arts. I knew he would have been disappointed but I now know that he would still have supported me. However, it is
    not too late to take up your real passion. The book I am reading have sample art from 70 to 88 year old Americans. If they can do it, then so can we,
    right? So chin up man.

    <TOPIC: Comic book style landscapes>

    By the way, who among you knows how to draw comic book style landscapes? The books on penciling landscapes does not translate very well to comic
    book art. If we pencil landscapes like in these books, the inker and colorist will kill us. Cityscapes are not a problem because they can be drawn using
    a ruler and some reference photos (zerk would be good at this since he is an architect).

    @zerk: I think it is okay to call it comic book club. This way we do not alienate comic book lovers who are not artists. They can offer objective reviews of
    our work However, I do not have tons of comic books. I think I only have two, Shanna and Ex-Machina Vol. 1. I will buy Vol. 2 and 3 before selling them
    as a package. That is me. Buy, read, sell.
