it depends...he could be honest or not. and you have a choice whether to believe him or not too. for me, i trust my instincts when it comes to distance...if i feel he's doing something bad id feel it. and make him confess...hehe

yes for me ni work jud tawn ako LDR buyag lang tawn...hehehe..before we gt married LDR mi for 4 years pinas ko states siya. lisod pud now we're happily married for 4 years almost five na tawn blessed with 2 precious kids. its hard but its worth it.
