AMD Athlon XP 2600+ (2.083GHz) = 6,200.00

*lol* That's a BIG difference...
Intel is ripping their customers pocket... heheheh
That is not a fair comparison. Not fair for AMD! Another comparison:Originally Posted by CrasHBURN

Cost over performance factor of a certain processor is not solely based on price alone.....Usage and opportunity gain factor should also be considered( in an accounting point of view). Benchmarks are not reliable as experience dictates....I still go with my tried and tested Intel rig...
You can never go wrong if you follow the course of nature....
hehehe... well, try using an amd... especially their Barton Core processors, you'll love it. Sooooo flexible and soooo fast... it also comes with the SSE2 instruction set for your lastest 3D softwares and apps.![]()
Intel is faster on any AMD processors in some other ways.... 2-4:10 Heavy applications i think... but let us think of General usage... 3D applications, games, industrial and corporate apps, etc... and price over performance of course..
But if you are using your PC for dedicated Intel optimized applications... then Intel Pentium 4 is for you!![]()
barton supports sse2?!? i thought only SSEOriginally Posted by zi0n
We always want the best, but we never get the best, and we argue for what is the best, but we never question on when will we be contented, so we have choices but always not satisfied.. the point is AMD and Intel are both fast in all aspects, but the its always been us the end user who always comment, for all we knw that this company is very happy to see that we compare there products coz they knw that we will always find a way to have more money to spend for a faster and better processor and they will have more money.. yet still we're not satified.. Get what u need and use it to its full potential and purpose, not just waste money on things that u will never be satisfied and alway to be argued..![]()
