Its because of Adam sins enter to this world and it came from satan.

Romans 5:12.
1) After the Fall of man, man now posesses a sinful nature. Satan cannot force a man to sin, but he knows that there is this inward aberration in man [sin nature] brought about by the Fall that he can entice and seduce.
Jas 1:14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his
own desires and enticed
The sinful desire was already there. Satan capitalizes on that. He [sinful man] is capable of having those desires because he possesses a sinful nature. But good thing Christ at the cross positionally crucified the flesh with its passions and DESIRES [in relation to Christians]:
Ga 5:24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and
desires.
2) that verse up there [Romans 5:12] is a good verse. Before Adam and Eve fell from innocence, sin was already present. Man's Fall did not create sin. It was through man's Fall that sin [already present in the hearts of Satan and his demons]
entered the world. Adam's disobedience to God's will was the open door in which sin
entered the world. Man's Fall did not create it. The sin [that was already there in the first place] simply found an open door to enter God's morally pure and pristine world.
Ro 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin
entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned-
NOTE: in some portions of the Bible especially in Romans we must learn to distinguish between SIN [as a nature] and SIN [as an act of personal wrongdoing]. Here in Romans 5:12, sin here refers to sin as a nature. Every human being has a sinful nature. And by reason of this, physical death awaits every human being. That is why even babies who have not committed sin [as a personal wrongdoing] is susceptible to death.

The expression "from the beginning" does not mean from all eternity. It means from the beginning of the world, he was a murderer. He murdered Adam and Eve by his deception and lies. But before that he was a creature created by God without sin.
