    TS:

Is there a way for you to access your ADSL modem/router? if yes .. please do so.. you still need to configure the modem..AFAIK.. PLDT has a STATIC ip addressing setup.. unlike globe has dynamic setup for ip addressing**this setup was before not sure if they still use this kind of setup.. just correct me if im wrong..hehe**..

so obtain the STATIC ip info of your PLDT modem first. and then assign it to your ADSL modem/router.

Depende gihapon sa subscription. Corporate accounts have static IP allocation. home DSL is dynamic IP.

Depende ra sa imo setup. If you still want to use your existing PLDT modem nya imo lang himoon additional access point imong DLink diha na ka mag bridge mode sa imong DLink.

Connect your DLink to PLDT via one of it's LAN ports. You can still use the DLink's Wi-Fi feature. Devices connected to your DLink will get settings/internet from your PLDT modem.

I am afraid nga dili gihapon nmo magamit ang imong ASUS MODEM/ROUTER as ROUTER, you can only use it as an ordinary switch and Wireless Access Point.

lahi man ang WAN side (DSL, ADSL, ADSL2+)

LAN side...you can assign a local IP to the MODEM/ROUTER
or configure the modem from PLDT to bridge mode only,
meaning you disable its routing function and thus the WAN
IP you get from PLDT, whether its dynamic or static
(it doesn't matter) well be the IP address assigned to your
personal modem/router. Everything follows after that, either
you enable DHCP for the LAN or disable it and chose to
assign IP addresses to your devices statically. WiFi can also be
    enabled of course.

my advice for you TS...familiarize yourself with the functions
and capabilities of your 2 networking devices. just br0wse all of
them in its web configuration interface. you can learn a l0t from
    there.
