I say to SLI. 670 is already a top tier card. No need to worry.
I say to SLI. 670 is already a top tier card. No need to worry.
If you'll go with the 780 Ti
1.) You'll have to resell your card and shell more for the 780 Ti obviously
2.) If you're gonna resell it in a year or two, you'll have to shave off almost 50% from the original price ( take the case of the GTX 690 )
3.) If it breaks, you're left with a useless pc
4.) Single card solution is simpler than dual solution
If you go for the GTX 670
1.) You can have one for less than 15k?
2.) If one card break, you still got one spare
3.) It's faster than the 780 Ti
Although the 670 in SLI will cost you less, you have to bear in mind you have to spend for another gpu block and extra tubes and fittings for the 2nd card.

go go go for another GTX 670 on SLI... trust me, this word comes from a user of a GTX 670 2-way SLI... hehehehe... you'll be all smiles after using the pair... trust me...
i paired mine with an i5-2550K OC to 4.2 ~ 4.4 GHz... and 4.8 GHz table...
played Crysis 3 online on multiplayer @ 16 players max... on all max out setting... AA set to MSAA8X (max sa game)... average fps: > 60 fps on 1080p
played BF 3 online on multiplayer @ 64 players max... on all max out setting... AA set to MSAA4x (max sa game)... average fps: > 120 fps on 1080p
these performance in on an "enthusiast" level...

get an r9 280x, mao nay pina ka bang for the buck nga single card karon for 1080p gaming..
Bai, mao ni dako kau na rason. CHOI Tan awon imo set-up kung naka SLI. hehe. Kung sli 670 ka, mas mau unta 120hz sad imo monitor.
a gtx 670 SLI is more powerful than a single R9 290x or a single GTX 780 Ti... for me, this is still a bang for the money... personally, i don't even bother on mantle for now... hehehe...for the sound, if you'll use a home theater for your PC bisan gamit lang ka's onboard sound chip sa mobo, daog na kaayo... naa'y daghan sale sa mga home theater ron december ai... like LG... got one here sa haus in Talisay... bought the HT for 5K only (if the purchase is for the home theater only, it's 10K php) w/ the 32" LG Smart LED TV (the smart TV cost 16K php) last week in SM Appliance center... (OT ni diri pero, reasonable ni sya kun mangita ta'g nice sounds for the PC)... kaso, mura'g humana ang sale sa LG karon na time...
ok ra gihapon sya for a 60 Hz monitor... bisan ako, gamit kay single 27" 1080p @ 60 Hz ra... ditched my plan for a triple 27s kay dili gyud magamit... had tried gaming using a triple monitor na and > 90 % of the time, naka focus akoang mata sa center monitor... wla gamit ang duha na 27s for the peripheral vision... sayang-ngan ko's gasto... hehehe... i play most of the time the FPS games...
don't even think on the term... "future proofing" kay in this passion of ours... future proofing will only be for 3 yrs max... and after this, maka sulti nata na hinay na ang HW like the CPU, GPU & mem modules. pero, kun mag sige ka'g apas sa technology, 1 ~ 1.5 yrs, taas na ni kaayo sa HW... but in reality, basta 1 ~ 1.5 yr pa ang age sa HW, it can still kick some butts pa ni sila... not unless, the next generation of released HW after a year kay pwerteng kusoga compared sa atoang current enthusiast level HW... if not, i personally see it pa na mo last ni'g 3 yrs max (as i had mentioned) ning enthusiast level HW nato...
kun naa mo'g kaila na naka GTX 670 SLI dha ug mga naka high end single GPU on both AMD & Nvidia, pag benchmark mo para maka kuha mo'g personal feel... don't just read reviews... give it a try... give it a hands on... "experience is the best teacher"...
the GTX 670 2 way-SLI is at par w/ a GTX 690...
