freedom? he was not absolutely for freedom. He was after for assimilation ra man. Assimilation nga ang mga datu ra'y makabenifits. but anyways, I'm not against Rizal, against lang ko kay usa ra ang national hero nato. hehe.

Ok ra bitaw. But not to the point nga pang national hero dayon. hehe. sad to say, even ang book ni Ambeth Ocampo nga Rizal without the overcoat kay naa gihapon coat. I can say unfair ang pagtan-aw nato sa History ba. Same author with his book, "Bonifacio's Bolo, talks about Bonifacio for first previous pages but if modig down ka, Rizal gihapon. In Philippines, Not degree holder, never will be a national hero. Opinion ra.

If not, who should it be?

For me, Rizal should not be our "national hero" neither Andres Bonifacio nor Lapu-Lapu. Our national hero should be heroes, and that is all filipino who fought for our freedom. Dili ra usa but daghan. Leon Kilay. Andres Abellana.

nope. I admire Rizal. It's just how we view our history ba. unfair man gud. hehe. Ok ra na sa mga isda or something. but talking about people, anybody could be a national hero. everyone is. Who was the one promoted Rizal to be National hero? diba American? I really admire Rizal's patriotism and his way. Pacifist. Intelligent. Just the politics of him being a national hero. and how the "intellectuals" treated Bonifacio and other heroes without proper education. Transparency sa History. hehe.

I'm not anti-Rizal ganahan lang ko og daghan ta ug national heroes! hehe.
