You can't OC that. You need a K processor and either a p67 or z68 motherboard to OC. If you also want to upgrade to an Ivybridge processor in the future, you can't use an H61 chipset. Only the h67, p67 and z68 chipsets are forward compatible with the Ivybridge processors.

TS, you might want to look into either a Radeon 7750 or 7770 for rour GPU. It consumes way less power that the 6850 and though the 7770 might be a bit slower than the 6850, it can run SC II at over 60fps @ 1920 x 1200 resolution.

The availability is the problem for these cards though. I still haven't found a retailer for them is Cebu. There are some at TPC though.

TS, my suggestion would be wait for a while for the H77/H75 mobos, ivy bridge cpus, kepler cards or HD7XXX cards. Its just around the corner. It will definitely be worth it para dili nka mag cge2 ug upgrade. Hehehe.

H61 supports Ivy Bridge. And 6850 is cheaper yet faster than the 7770. There's just too much handicap on 128bit cards compared to 256bit that clock and capacity can compensate for..

I already mentioned that the 6850s were a bit faster. I was stressing on the power consumption of the 7770, which are seen in the charts, are significantly lower than 6850 while still getting 60+ fps in SC II which the TS mentioned what he's using his build mostly for.

I think I saw it too. Must have slipped my mind. The staff there didn't really bother to entertain me even though I was the only customer browsing the store while I was there so I didn't really care much at what they were selling.

Last question. The pricelist in GI says 1GB ATI Radeon 6850 DDR5 256bit. As far as I remember, Powercolor ang brand nga gi baligya sa GI. Someone told me bati daw ang Powercolor.
