don't take it personally... let's just follow rules... timing2x ra gyud ni. dili pud pwede all the time mag police ang mga mods sa atoang gipang post dri. naa baya na sila laing importante na gipang buhat pud on a daily basis...

let's take it as a learning... lets continue the discussion on your problem. unsa na update ani bro, solved na or wala pa? basin sa cable or sa casing nya. share ko experience sa akoang portable HDD from my previous office issued notebook - IBM T60... its a Hitachi 2.5" 120 GB (5400 rpm) HDD. Dili ma detect bisan asa na PC either notebook or desktop. nag ilis ko ug lain2x USB cable pero wala ra gihapon. dili gihapon ma detect. abi nko ning hagtos na sya kay taod2x naman pud ni nko. bali Aug 2007 pa ni sya then gamit everyday sa office. Last Sat evening, akoang gi tang2x sa iyahang portable case then gi taod nko sa gaming rig. na detect ra sya. even naa ra ang iyahang tanan sulod... priceless data ra ba nko. ang akoang gibuhat kay akoang gi transfer sa akoang desktop external HDD ang tanan data nya then akoang gi reformat. karon, naa ra gihapon sya sa gaming rig.

try to change the portable case nya bro. maybe, ma ok na sya...

Gisapot man ko ato boss ako nabunal...bungkag..ako 2k bungkag pod kay i dont see any signs nga mo refund ako gipalitan...cge man larga..cge lang wala nya nagamit na daw kuarta...mao ako nalang gibunal s kalagot..anyways cge lang tingali need jud niya money....

Things to check:

OS --> Kung XP ka hinay jud ni xa compare sa win7 in terms of transfering or copying files,.

Capacity--> For example, imong HDD is 85-95% used space... Once mag-copy ka or transfer files maghinay jud kay daghan files na magsige's rumble kay external man ni xa and I bet wala pa jud ni xa nimo kadefrag,.

RAM--> If you are using a 64bit OS then your RAM is just 2Gb maghinay jud ni kay fast transferring/copying files requires RAM biya so mas taas na capacity sa RAM mas paspas(only in 64bit OS).

Consider also na u are only using USB 2.0
