You're lucky you have 3.25gb usable, mine is recognizing only 2.99gb.

at first 2gb usable rato akoa, then ako gtry sa lain slot nku gbutang then ni 3.25gb usable xa... hehe ambot ngano ni, etry lng sa lain slot sir.

Murag dili man to tweak bro. If i remember right, it was either an update or a windows executable which apparently modifies the boot.ini file and makes currently installed apps large address aware.
Been reading around and your link suggests of a manual commandline/registry tweak. Dili ko sure ha, pero i think with that tweak, you still have to enable large address awareness on apps..
go for 64-bit OS as they say less hago jud.
