Everingham’s performances on field coupled with his training efforts throughout the pre-season and season proper led the Rabbitohs to reward him with a contract extension.

Matt Srama - the kid who could ease Ricky's mind
by: Marhie Mcdonald From: The Australian May 05, 2012 12:00AM

“A 21-YEAR-OLD who has played only as many NRL games as his age will be Ricky Stuart's barometer over the next fortnight to help select the best hooker for his NSW Origin side.
Matt Srama tonight goes up against Robbie Farah when the Gold Coast battles Wests Tigers for the annual Larry Corowa Cup. Then, next Friday night, Srama lines up against Michael Ennis when Canterbury comes to Queensland.
But Srama won't be giving either No 9 an arm-chair ride. Compare his statistics with both Farah and Ennis over the past two rounds and the player with Polish/Filipino heritage can certainly hold his own.”

Even Kevin Gordon gets a mention scoring the opening try for the Gold Coast Titans on the W/E!!!

Robbie Farah inspires Wests Tigers victory of Titans
    Steve Ricketts AAP May 05, 2012 6:30PM

“FULLTIME: WESTS TIGERS 15 (B Ayshford R Farah tries B Marshall 3 goals R Farah field goal) bt GOLD COAST 14 (K Gordon D Mead tries A Sezer 3 goals) in golden-point extra time at Skilled Park. Referee: Gerard Sutton, Alan Shortall. Crowd: 14,254.

The Titans played expansive football at every opportunity in the first half. However, their first try came from a bomb, with winger Kevin Gordon leaping over his opposite Beau Ryan to score in the 13th minute.”

“I got some good news a couple of weeks ago, I’ve been chosen in the Philippines International side for their inaugural international match against Thailand.

It’s surreal today that it’s around and I can play my part for the country of my mother’s birth, me and Kevie Gordon will be there, and my brother Luke Srama will be captaining the side. It’s something to look forward to at the end of the year, but my main goal is to reach the semi finals and win the premiership with the Titans!”

His younger brother Kevin is living the high life as a Gold Coast Titan, but Matt Gordon insists he'll be more than happy with his lot when he represents Canberra against Northern Rivers at Cessnock today.

But the 24-year-old knows today's opening clash of the Country Rugby League regional championships is a chance to press his claims for an NRL call-up.

“TWO years after he was working as a barman at Wests Ashfield Leagues Club, South Sydney winger Andrew Everingham admits he's still coming to terms with his brilliant debut season.

With his dreams of cracking the NRL ebbing away, the 25-year-old was offered a lifeline last December by Rabbitohs coach Michael Maguire.
