I've tried both to experience the two sides of the coin.

First I had too many inhibitions and so reserved of my feelings for someone
that I always end up facing all the what-ifs I could think of and it's never
easy to be clouded such predicament.

Then as I grew older, I have become bolder and more comfortable of my
feelings to the extent of telling the person how I felt for him.. I didn't
get his affection though but I was able to move on from that humiliating
    experience lols.

I've learned that when it comes to feelings, one shouldn't keep it forever
because it will torment you for the rest of your life. You will never know
what's out there in store for you. Whereas you being open with your feelings
don't expect that the person will love you back because life can be cruel
sometimes.. you can't simply have everything you want and need

It's better to fail while trying rather than to fail without even trying at all.

At least that's my belief. Usahay, ang gugma lisud pugngan. Mas maayu nalang nga isulti nimo imu na feel kaysa sige lang ka ug daydream nga magka kamo. You never know, he/she feels the same way pud. But if not, then move on to the next target. Haha.

I know a lot of people who undergone situations like these where dili sila musulti sa ila feelings and mu regret dayun in the end. Hala largo, isulti imu gibati.
