I agree. "Buy the most expensive lens that you can afford" . Buy that Red thing. The Brand new price of 18-200 mm gamay nalang na nga utong for 24-105 or 24-70.

@ TS- depende man gud na sa imo gamitan sa lens. unsa man imo pirmi tirahan? if mag portrait ka is 28-135 is good enough na plus IS USM siya so pwede pd para mang snipe sniper, ug all around lens-pero if 18-200 ka mas taas imo range pero ang quality sa pics kay mag suffer at the longest focal length.

for events ra mn ako bro and outings ang gamay na adventure.. mao ra... dili mn jud ko into detail na magartistic... pero I appreciate quality pics jud mao ra jud na ako gi-apas.. gusto ko nindot ako shots even sa layo especially shots that you dont expect to happen..hehehe... murag I will go for the canon 18-200mm but naghuna2x sad ko sa SIGMA 18-250mm.. Which is the additional 50mm pajud.. What do you think is much better of the two?... Thanks a lot jud sa inyo mga inputs..

or Canon 28-300mm? or Sigma 50-500mm?

go with the 18-sa canon.=p if youd invest in IQ na lenses na then get an L lens later on.=p
