Use an outlet w/ power surge protection. You can buy that at any local electronics or hardware.

naa naman ko ana sir..

wala jud ibot2 ako pc and telephone line sukad2 and i ddnt have problems relating to lightning surge. but i do have earth ground connected from the telephone main junction box, and the same earth ground runs to inside the house goin to the surge protector where my pc, the telephone cable goin to modem and all other peripherals were connected and each equipment was modified that it will be connected to the same earth ground..

but of course a direct hit from lightning is disastrous, i may be just lucky all these years...

So far wa paman na guba akong pc sa kilat, kapila na sige ug kilat nga ma pawng ra ang PC.

Kung ang house sa imong customer kay mas taas compare sa other houses diay mas dako ug chances diha mo tugpa..
